I have always been an artist of one sort or another and loved the creative process. Most of my adult life was spent as a professional musician, however I have always loved sewing, knitting, crafting, painting and other artistic things. When I retired from the music business, I decided to focus my energies on the knitting and sewing that I have always loved, and grew it into my two Etsy shops.
I am very happily married to my sweetheart and best friend Guy. We live across the street from Carlsbad State beach near San Diego. We have a beautiful daughter, Rachael, and a wonderful grandson, Charlie, who is following in my footsteps as a professional drummer and musician.
OUTLANDER KNITS: I've been a huge fan of Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series of books since the first book, Outlander, was published in 1991. In 2014 the Starz adaptation began airing and a new phenomenon occurred. Outlander Knits! The knitwear in the show became an over night success (almost as much as the series itself), and I began getting requests to make replicas of the knitwear from the show. So, I knit the cowls, shawls, tams, mitts and other Outlander knitwear for many of my Outlander friends and Etsy customer. It is an honor and a treat for me to make things by hand that people will love and enjoy for years to come. Anytime you have a question, you are welcome to drop a note via my Etsy shop, Facebook page or email.
