My only serious resolution for 2010 is to focus on positive growth in all areas of my life. That is something that is manageable and fairly easy for me to do. Especially in my new house and surroundings. :o) I hope that 2010 brings you all the many happy and wonderful things you want for yourselves, family and friends. And if you are in my area, give me a holler. You can stop by and join me for a dip in the pool. ;o)

First, I want to wish all of my family, friends and followers a most wonderful and Happy New Year! I think for many of us, 2009 was pretty crazy. I know it certainly was for us. After 13 years in our Carlsbad home - we moved! We have a lovely new home (only 4 miles from where we were) that is lighter and brighter, easier to maintain, and has a pool! I have long needed and wanted a pool. I love to swim and I know that my husband and I will get a lot more exercise and activity on a daily basis with a pool. Guy is still rehabbing from his broken foot (last September). He's had his foot in a orthopedic boot ever since, and should be getting out of it very soon, so the pool will come in handy for him too! I have a lovely little studio filled with sunshine in which to create, and an orange tree outside my kitchen window. We also have this adorable little putting green in the yard (compliments of the former owners). It's really pretty cute and Guy gets a kick out of telling people about the "18th fairway" running through our yard. ;o)
Watch for lots of wonderful new things in both my Etsy shops, ZaftigDelights.etsy.com and KnitzyBlonde.etsy.com. I am currently working on some new Plus Size clothing designs/patterns that I will be making for Zaftig Delights, as well as new handbag and knitwear items for Knitzy Blonde. Here's a little tease. ;o) Shown above is a cute new handbag that I just listed in my KnitzyBlonde shop. It is called the Rachael Bag, named after my daughter whom I actually designed and made the first sample bag for. It is black with a cute retro cherries print lining and trim, and an adorable bow. I'm getting a lot of favorable comments on it.
