The frost is on the pumpkin. Brrrrrrrr

It's definitely autumn, and mornings are crisp and a little chillier. You can feel the leaves crunching under your feet as you walk, and we're all reminded that it is time to get out all your fall and winter knits.

I always like to wash my knits and freshen them up after having been in the drawers for many months. I am often asked by people who buy my knit wear what I use to wash my hand knitted items in. Here's my secret for handwashing and prolonging the life of your fine hand knitted items. It is a fabulous product called Soak™.

Soak™ the stuff you care about most. Keep the fibers you love looking great with Soak. This rinse-free formulation is perfect for washing your laciest lingerie, your softest sweaters, hand-made quilts and even baby clothes. Soak is gentle and deliciously scented with fabric-friendly ingredients that revitalize fibers so they look great and last longer.
Soak’s gentle formulation is perfect for hand-knits, raw fibers, spinning,- even felting. With contemporary fresh fragrances that smell great (Flora, Aquae, Citrus), and a no-rinse formulation that’s gentle enough for everything from cashmere and wool to cotton and silk, it’s exactly what you have been looking for. Knitters from North America to New Zealand are loving Soak. You’ll find it at yarn retailers (ask for it at your local yarn shop), knitting boutiques, lingerie boutiques, apparel stores and online retailers across North America and around the World.
All the lovely hand knitted items pictured here are available in my KnitzyBlonde Etsy Shop. I hope you'll try some Soak, and take good care of your fine hand knitted garments. That way they will keep you warm for many years to come. Happy Autumn!

Warm thoughts,
